INFORMATION FOR TRANSLATORS AND INTERPRETERS
If you are a translator or interpreter and would like to become part of IPS' pool of translators and interpreters please do exactly as instructed below. IPS will not accept resumes sent with no regards to the instructions:
Prepare your resume to be sent by e-mail to the address shown below (all applicants should expect a test). We like MsWord format but can accommodate other formats.
In your e-mail Subject heading write the following information. Please do not use abbreviations:
1. Language pair/combination (from and into) you can submit multiple language combinations.
2. Your last name followed by first initial; or company name.
3. Your specialty (technical, medicine, computers, law, etc.) you can write many specialties.
4. Price range per word or per hour in USD in the original language (not target). We recognize this is only a guide for work and actual price will depend on every project. Nevertheless, you will have a better chance to be contacted by IPS when you state a range.
5. Major metropolitan area and country were you are located.
Your e-mail Subject heading should look like this:
English into Chinese (Hornova T) Medicine, Law (USD 0.00 to 0.00 translation) USD 0.00 to 0.00 proofreading (Beijing, China)
